Throughout the holidays, the Botanical Garden throws various events – think carolers and live music. You get to enjoy the sweet sounds of the season while soaking in the beautiful sights of the garden.

Here’s a twist: instead of the Botanical Garden, we checked out the Japanese Tea Garden. It’s a bit smaller but just as festive and lovely, plus it’s free! We went after a rare December freeze, so some plants were still recovering, but the garden was still beautiful and totally worth the visit. If you’ve got the time, we’d say go for both—double the holiday fun!
